Thammindham Makkal Arivutaimai Maanilaththu
Mannuyirk Kellaam Inidhu

English Translation

With joy the hearts of parents swell To see their children themselves excel

தம் மக்களின் அறிவுடைமை தமக்கு இன்பம் பயப்பதை விட உலகத்து உயிர்களுக்கேல்லாம் மிகுந்த இன்பம் பயப்பதாகும்.

Their children's wisdom greater than their own confessed,Through the wide world is sweet to every human breast
