Irudhi Payappinum Enjaadhu Iraivarku
Urudhi Payappadhaam Thoodhu

English Translation

Braving death the bold envoy Assures his king's safety and joy

தனக்கு அழிவே தருவதாக இருந்தாலும் அதற்காக அஞ்சி விட்டுவிடாமல், தன் அரசனுக்கு நன்மை உண்டாகுமாறு செய்கின்றவனே தூதன்.

Death to the faithful one his embassy may bring;To envoy gains assured advantage for his king

Explanation

He is the ambassador who fearlessly seeks his sovereign's good though it should cost him his life (to deliver his message)
