What is the minimum age for TNPSC exams?
18 years for the major group exams. Upper limits vary by exam and category, with generous relaxations for reserved categories, and no upper limit at all for several categories in SSLC-level exams like Group 4.
As on which date is age calculated?
Each notification fixes its own reference date (commonly July 1 of the notification year). This calculator uses today's date; the notification date is final.
Is there an attempt limit in TNPSC?
No. Unlike UPSC, TNPSC does not count attempts, the age window is the only ceiling.
