Vinaikalandhu Vendreeka Vendhan Manaikalandhu

English Translation

May the king fight and win and give And with my wife I will feast this eve!

அரசன் இச் செயலில் முனைந்து நின்று வெற்றி பெறுவானாக; அதன்பின் யாம் மனைவியோடு கூடியிருந்து அனறு வரும் மாலைப் பொழுதிற்கு விருந்து செய்வோம்.

O would my king would fight, o'ercome, devide the spoil;At home, to-night, the banquet spread should crown the toil

Let the king fight and gain (victories); (but) let me be united to my wife and feast the evening
