Serunaraik Kaanin Sumakka Iruvarai

English Translation

Bear with hostiles when you meet them Fell down their head in fateful time

பகைவரைக் கண்டால் பொறுத்துச் செல்லவேண்டும், அப் பகைவர்க்கு முடிவுகாலம் வந்த போது அவருடைய தலை கீழே விழும்.

If foes' detested form they see, with patience let them bear;When fateful hour at last they spy,- the head lies there

Explanation

If one meets his enemy, let him show him all respect, until the time for his destruction is come; when that is come, his head will be easily brought low
