Solvanakkam Onnaarkan Kollarka Vilvanakkam
Theengu Kuriththamai Yaan

Trust not the humble words of foes Danger darts from bending bows

வில்லின் வணக்கம் வணக்கமாக இருந்தாலும் தீங்கு செய்தலைக்குறித்தமையால், பகைவரிடத்திலும் அவருடைய சொல்லின் வணக்கத்தை நன்மையாகக் கொள்ளக் கூடாது.

Since the bending of the bow bespeaks evil, one should not accept (as good) the humiliating speeches of one's foes
